Martin Luther King Jr.,
Breakfast & Awards Ceremony
#ccfcp
The Community Care Food & Clothing Pantry annually hosts a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast and Award Ceremony on the observed MLK Day Holiday. Passed down by the founder of Dreamers of Tomorrow, Mr. Bobby Harris of South Jersey, we have taken up this honored tradition of hosting a program that keeps the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. alive! Keeping with a theme that has been done for years, the Community Care Food & Clothing Pantry organization honors community leaders doing outstanding work to improve the overall quality of life in their respective communities. The MLK event Committee receives many nominations and then awards chosen candidates at this event. We also use this event to bring awareness to hunger in our region, our scholarship program, highlight non-profit organizations and businesses in the region.
Come out and meet our leaders that we are honoring this year. This program is also filled with amazing surprises and performances that will have you galvanized. The focus this year in celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a great civil rights leader will consist of highlighting amazing activists, leaders, and unsung heroes in your community and their impact. Our theme this year is Keeping the Dream Alive: It Starts With Me. With being in such a polarizing political climate it is even more important to remember the values of this great leader. Help us keep the DREAM ALIVE! If you missed our last Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Celebration and Award Ceremony Breakfast, you missed a treat. Don't miss our next one!
